Provision of plants and bulbs required for the Councils 2023 spring bedding schemes.

You are invited to quote for the provision of the plants required for our 2024 spring bedding schemes. If you need to substitute any cultivars please state the proposed substitute and its overall height and habit. The Bill of Quantities attached shows all the species required, the numbers and the plant sizes. We would like quality plants, preferably in 100% peat free compost. Please state the make-up of the growing medium you would use for this project. In order to reduce waste, we would prefer pot-less delivery of the plants, the pot size specified is therefore an indication. Please advise what size you will provide if it varies substantially from that requested. Plants are to be well formed, true to species, and free from pests and diseases with a well-developed root system filling the container. Wall flowers are to be 150-200mm height at time of delivery.. Supply dates will be late October/early November 2023. The order is split approx. 50/50 between plants for Droitwich and Evesham in two separate deliveries, on separate weeks, as we do not have room to store them all at once. The exact split details are included in the Bills of Quantity. Delivery of all plants will be to our contractor’s depots. Keywords: Spring bedding plants and bulbs
