Tender description
Sheffield City Council is looking for a provider that is accredited to carry out an ESFA audit in June 2023. Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) has developed a subcontracting standard which has been fully implemented for academic year 2022/2023. This replaces the audit certification process which was in place until academic year 2021/2022. The subcontracting standard is about oversight and management of public funds and ensuring that these are used to best effect, to maximise the value of those funds to benefit the learner. This new framework will ensure that there is a clear and consistent approach for the (contract) management of subcontractors by lead providers and that there are robust assurance review arrangements.
