The Tullow Road Pedestrian and Cycle scheme involves the development of a comprehensive pedestrian/cycle facility along the L-40425, serving the residential areas of John Sweeney Park, Silver Pines, Burrin Manor, etc. by extending from the previously completed section of shared cycle/pedestrian active travel infrastructure to link with the Burren River active travel route. The works also include for the construction of a vehicular junction between John Sweeney Park and Burrin Manor Estates to cater for a new entrance to a proposed community center in the public open space bounding the L-40435 at this location.
