Tender description

This Project Brief is an information document for an Architect Led Multi – Disciplinary Design Team who is being invited to tender for conducting a Feasibility Study for an Advanced Air Mobility R&D eVTOL/eCTOL Verti-Port Facility, located at Shannon Airport Campus, Shannon, Co. Clare. Further details regarding the study are provided below. This Study Brief should be read in conjunction with the Standard Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services (Technical), the Instruction to Tenderers and the Tender & Schedule. FMCI intend to appoint a suitably qualified multi-disciplinary design team led by an Architect to deliver consultancy services required to deliver this feasibility study including Architectural, Civil and Structural, Mechanical and Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Fire Safety Consultant. The appointed design team will be responsible for managing the feasibility study process and delivering on agreed study objectives including a detailed animation of the proposed facility/facilities. Where tenderers consider that additional specialist design team services are required to fulfil the services required in the study, they must advise FMCI immediately and before the date set for return of tenders. Requests for employment of additional specialist design team services following receipt of tenders cannot be facilitated. The construction budget (excluding VAT, fees, equipment, loose & fixed furniture and capital contributions), will form part of the deliverables by the appointed design team for the infrastructure identified in the study in the form of a detailed cost plan. FMCI will require developed CGI and Animation (fly through video) of the internal and external of the proposed infrastructure, which will be used for future stakeholder engagement. The images and videos will include internal spatial floorplans / layouts, furniture etc. and external building facade, car parking, landscaping etc. which is not an exhaustive list of items to be included.
