Provision of Void Energy Management Scheme, scope involves the provision of gas and / or electricity to the Council on a short-term basis following the departure of a tenant from the Council’s housing stock in preparation for new tenants and provide any new tenant with gas and / or electricity as their entry supplier. A list of typical activities undertaken by Void Energy Management Scheme provider include: Take over the meter of void properties; Clearing existing debts; Provision of system to manage energy provision to property portfolio; Preparing for a new tenant moving in; Providing a dedicated team to deal with NLC changeovers; and Dedicated customer process and arranging dispatching of engineer if the previous tenant has tampered with the metering arrangement.
