Strategic and creative  refresh of its brand identity

The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) is seeking a design agency to undertake a creative refresh of its brand identity. RBGE is the guardian of one of the world’s most significant plant science and horticultural resources. The organisation has recently developed a new strategy and wants to ensure it has the right identity to help realise the priorities in its new Corporate, Science & Biodiversity Strategies. It is a time of change for the organisation, with several ambitious projects underway including the Edinburgh Biomes project which is the most significant in RBGE’s 350-year history. We are looking for a design agency with relevant experience in the sector who can bring a strategic and creative approach to the refresh of its brand identity. RBGE has recently conducted a review of its brand and developed a set of new objectives for the brand identity, which will form the basis of the creative brief to the selected agency. The selected design agency will be expected to develop a number of creative routes in response to the creative brief, to take one route into further development and deliver a detailed set of brand guidelines for implementation by the organisation.
