ICO - ENTERPRISE DATA STRATEGY

The ICO25 have identified a need for a detailed and robust Data Strategy for the organisation. This will include a Data Maturity Assessment of the ICO’s current data practices and ways of working. This maturity assessment may reveal further programmes of work required for the Data Strategy and the wider organisation. Lot 1: The ICO requires an Enterprise Data Strategy to develop data as a strategic asset. This is expected to underpin significant organisational benefits, most notably: •Empowering ICO employees with knowledge to support decision making •Engaging and empowering ICO stakeholders through personalisation and self-service •Optimising ICO operations through insights and automation •Transforming and offering “smart” service offerings through real-time feedback and data-enriched products. The scope of the procurement is to acquire the services of a consultant partner to 1.Develop an Enterprise Data Strategy for the ICO. 2.Conduct a Data Maturity Assessment (DMA). 3.Conduct relevant supporting activities to develop and communicate the strategy such as other research, consultation, and communications materials. The objectives of the procurement activity are to identify and select a consultancy partner with the necessary skills and experience to work with the ICO to develop the Enterprise Data Strategy and conduct a Data Maturity Assessment to the required cost, time, and quality standards.
