TfGM Driver Standards Monitoring System

Tender description

The Driver Standards Monitoring system will include the following factors it will need to measure and record. • Acceleration • Braking • Speeding • Cornering (G-force) • Idling time Lot 1: The Driver Standards Monitoring system required shall also need to include the following: • A RAG scoring system for each of the above factors, such that driver standards can be categorised as Green, Amber or Red. • An in-cab monitor based on the RAG scoring system, thereby enabling the driver to view their performance in real-time. • The ability to provide the driver with a report at the end of his/her shift showing the RAG ratings for each of the 5 factors detailed in point 1 of this list, along with an overarching RAG rating of Green, Amber, or Red. • The ability to record the GPS position of the bus, along with the ability to associate the GPS co-ordinates with each of the 5 factors. • The ability to provide a means of sharing real-time data collected on the bus to a central system Lot 1: The Driver Standards Monitoring system required shall also need to include the following: • A RAG scoring system for each of the above factors, such that driver standards can be categorised as Green, Amber or Red. • An in-cab monitor based on the RAG scoring system, thereby enabling the driver to view their performance in real-time. • The ability to provide the driver with a report at the end of his/her shift showing the RAG ratings for each of the 5 factors detailed in point 1 of this list, along with an overarching RAG rating of Green, Amber, or Red. • The ability to record the GPS position of the bus, along with the ability to associate the GPS co-ordinates with each of the 5 factors. • The ability to provide a means of sharing real-time data collected on the bus to a central system
