Tender description
The Adelaide and Meath Hospital, Dublin incorporating the National Children’s Hospital (AMNCH) intends to invite tenderers to make a submission relating the requirement is for a turnkey solution for the provision of a 3T MRI scanner and all associated building works and ancillary devices. The scanner shall share a control room with an existing 1.5T MR scanner. The unit shall house a super-conducting magnet. The minimum bore diameter shall be 70cm. The scanner shall be the most advanced system available at time of installation. The new build shall be configured to ensure adequate RF and magnetic shielding for the new MRI scanner such that it neither interferes with nor is subject to interference from the existing MRI system and external environment. The existing MRI scanner and associated systems shall be removed and disposed at no attributable cost as part of the turnkey.
