Summary of the work Maudsley Learning requires a team of developers with very excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, power app, Umbraco and moodle. Developers need to have a good understanding of how these programmes integrate. Expected Contract Length 12 months with optional extension of 12 months Latest start date Monday 23 January 2023 Why the Work is Being Done With the exponential growth of Maudsley Learning, we have successfully transformed the business from a physical service delivery organisation to one that is now able to deliver our services online. In 2020, we invested in a new digital interface for Maudsley Learning linking the website to a virtual learning environment subsequently enabling a seamless UX when accessing our services in person or digitally. The aim is to improve the work delivered to date to catch up with the constant change in demand for how our services is being offered / delivered Problem to Be Solved The digital infrastructure relies on several platforms for successful deployment. The website uses Umbraco for front-end design with the backend linked to Microsoft Dynamics (PowerApp). Further integration into a Virtual learning environment powered by moodle. Currently, some of the items needing to be developed are - waiting list - Automatic user enrolment not working as it should - control over the number of tickets a user can book - Umbraco - Ability to configure pages as public, hidden or password-protected - Debug Screen - to speed up customer queries - Integrate PowerApp data into the existing CRM platform (e-shot) - Upgrade the existing Umbraco site from 7.0 to the latest version available - Resolve incorrectly triggered emails e.g. cancelled courses sometimes still trigger reminder emails to those registered. Who Are the Users Users need to be able to create account on maudsleylearning.com and actions associated with it e.g. update profile, request for forgotten password etc. Users need to be able to book / reserve a place on our courses with the ability to pay if required. Users need to be able to cancel their places on courses via customer portal and refund issued (Stripe). Users need to have able to bulk upload other users onto a course. Users need to be able to checkout with more than one product. Currently user is only able to checkout multiples of the same product Work Already Done A document solution architecture is in place to illustrate how the system works Existing Team - Working with current developers for handover - Head of Marketing - Learning Platforms Coordinator - Head of Digital Current Phase Live Skills & Experience • At least 3 years expertise in iteratively, prototyping, designing and building services which meet both user needs and the GOV.UK guidelines for content design, service design and accessibility (2%) • At least 3 years experience in administering common open source databases like Postgres, MongoDB, Redis etc. in a production environment. Please give examples (2%). Nice to Haves Experience supporting a production environment and supporting technical customers/users (1%). Work Location The work can be conducted remotely. However, our location is Maudsley Learning ORTUS Conferencing and Events Venue 82-96 Grove Lane London SE5 8SN Working Arrangments The supplier staff will keep GovWifi and Common Technology Services Programme team hours in order to maximise knowledge transfer and integrate with team development processes: Monday to Friday based in our office (in Aldgate) starting work by 9.30am, 7.5 hours per day + lunch time. There will be a requirement for the people working on this outcome to participate in extended hours support rota for GovWifi service they are developing - on average one week in four. Expenses will be capped at £5,000 for the duration of the contract and all travel and subsistence will require prior approval. Additional T&Cs All expenses must be pre-agreed between the parties and must comply with the Cabinet Office (CO) Travel and Subsistence (T&S) Policy. All vendors are obliged to provide sufficient guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures so that the processing meets the requirements of GDPR and ensures the protection of the rights of data subjects.
