Tender description
The Environment Agency require MEICA services (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Control and Automation) to support the operation, repair and maintenance of a variety of flood defence assets such as lock gates, pumping stations, river level maintenance weirs, and flow and level measurement systems.<br/><br/>This procurement exercise is formed of six area based Lots to deliver planned and reactive maintenance, and minor project work. Each Lot will have it's own Framework Agreement and will be delivered by a single provider with a reserve Supplier in place. The initial term will be for three years with an optional one year extension based on performance.<br/><br/>This framework will be available for use by the Environment Agency and no other authorities.<br/><br/>This Notice is to alert the market of the award of the procurement activity. Lot Lot 1: Lot 1 - North West North West<br/>For all area based lots, work includes Planned Preventative maintenance, Reactive works and Minor project work (NOT Major project work).This is to support the operation, repair and maintenance of a variety of flood defence assets such as lock gates, pumping stations, river level maintenance weirs, and flow and level measurement systems. Lot Lot 2: Lot 2 - North East North East<br/>For all area based lots, work includes Planned Preventative maintenance, Reactive works and Minor project work (NOT Major project work).This is to support the operation, repair and maintenance of a variety of flood defence assets such as lock gates, pumping stations, river level maintenance weirs, and flow and level measurement systems. Lot Lot 3: Lot 3 - Central Central<br/>For all area based lots, work includes Planned Preventative maintenance, Reactive works and Minor project work (NOT Major project work). The Central area also includes High Voltage requirements This is to support the operation, repair and maintenance of a variety of flood defence assets such as lock gates, pumping stations, river level maintenance weirs, and flow and level measurement systems. Lot Lot 4: Lot 4 - South East South East<br/>For all area based lots, work includes Planned Preventative maintenance, Reactive works and Minor project work (NOT Major project work). This is to support the operation, repair and maintenance of a variety of flood defence assets such as lock gates, pumping stations, river level maintenance weirs, and flow and level measurement systems. Lot Lot 5: Lot 5 - Wessex Wessex<br/>For all area based lots, work includes Planned Preventative maintenance, Reactive works and Minor project work (NOT Major project work). This is to support the operation, repair and maintenance of a variety of flood defence assets such as lock gates, pumping stations, river level maintenance weirs, and flow and level measurement systems. Lot Lot 6: Lot 6 - Devon and Cornwall Devon and Cornwall<br/>For all area based lots, work includes Planned Preventative maintenance, Reactive works and Minor project work (NOT Major project work). This is to support the operation, repair and maintenance of a variety of flood defence assets such as lock gates, pumping stations, river level maintenance weirs, and flow and level measurement systems.
