Integrated Design Team Services for Walking and Cycling Trailheads & Associated Works

Tender description

The Contracting Authority proposes to engage in a competitive procedure for the provision of three lots: • Lot 1: The design of a trailhead car park, service block, multiuse space with two nearby play areas and traffic calming measures, the upgrading of a nearby small parking area, the provision of an outdoor uncovered changing area, and modifications to the nearby slipway car parking area. • Lot 2: The design of a series of 4 recreation trails, appropriate for walking and cycling (2) and walking only (2). • Lot 3: the design of a viewing platform located in the forest at Myles Big Stone and extending out within and then above the treeline from the steep ground overlooking Lough MacNean Upper . The supplier may tender for either one or multiple lots. All completed lots are to comply with the planning application process of Leitrim County Council. Type of Competition: National Open Competition for the Provision of trailhead, service block and trail designs to fulfil the planning process requirements. Award of contracts: Contract award will be on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT) in terms of the award criteria and weightings set out in Section 5 of this document.
