Tender description
This project entails works to the existing heating system in the original school building. Refer to the drawings for further information on the works to be carried out. The scope of the works will be as follows: • Decommission and replace the existing gas boiler with two new wall mounted gas condensing boilers. • Decommission and replace the existing flue with a new flue suitable for the new gas condensing boilers. A new flue liner will be required in the existing masonry chimney as part of the installation. • Decommissioning and replace the existing MCC controls panel with a new MCC control panel. • Decommissioning and replace the existing heating circulating pumps with new pumps. • Decommission and replace all pipework in the boilerhouse. • Decommission and replace all pipework and radiators in the building. • All associated preliminaries. • All decommissioning works. • All associated electrical works as indicated on the drawings and detailed in the specifications. • All builders’ works associated with the above. See ‘Builders Work Schedule’ in ‘Volume C1 – Pricing Schedule’ for further details. • Acting as Project Supervisor Construction Stage for the project. • Acting as COVID-19 Compliance Officer for the project. • All works will be carried out in compliance with current health and safety and COVID-19 regulations. • Any other works associated with the works as identified on the drawings and the specifications. • All other items as indicated in drawings and detailed in specifications. The Contractor shall be deemed to have carried out a site visit of the school prior to the completion of his/her tender and ensure that all factors, site conditions and items are taken account of necessary to complete the installation and to leave same in a complete working condition to the satisfaction of the Employer’s Representative.
