Tender description

Tenders are invited by the Council from Providers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Handy Person Services (the "Services"). A service which enables people to live more independently in a home that is safe, warm and secure, preventing and/or delaying the need for more costly health and social care interventions. The estimated value of the Services to be awarded is approximately £115,000 per annum for the initial three-year contract period. The anticipated commencement date for the Contract(s) is 1st April 2023. The anticipated expiry date for the Contract(s) is 31st March 2026, with the option to extend for a further two (2) periods of twelve (12) months.
