GB-Luton: CSSD AHU 2022/23

Tender description

The site is situated within Luton and Dunstable Hospital, Sterile Services Block 12. Works will be undertaken in the areas as generally indicated on the various drawings listed in CPW's specifications and drawings. The Contractor may be required to work outside the defined working areas as indicated and this will need to be agreed with the Trust/CA in advance of any works being undertaken. Existing departments are adjacent to the Works, together with existing fire escape routes and access routes. These areas will continue to be fully operational whilst works are taking place The project is the air handling unit and chiller replacement and associated works for the Sterile Services Department in Block 12 at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. The works comprise of enhancement to the ventilation and cooling plant and associated services modifications. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
