Tender description

Extension to St Flannan's NS asphalt paved surfacing rear access road, approximate quantities (2,385m2). Tenderer is to satisfy themselves of exact quantities and include for the following in their tender quote: 1. Plane down and scarify existing stone surface to regulate levels in preparation for new surface finish. Include for clause 804 to make up levels and to fill any soft spots as deemed necessary (contractor risk item, tenderer is to make their own assessment as to the necessity of 804 stone fill and include in quote if required). Include for disposal off site of any materials arising from the planing works. 2. Installation of 25m of Aco Channel at the club house. 3. Supply and install of blinding layer. 4. Include for making good any existing adjacent surfaces to allow smooth jointing of existing surfaces to new asphalt paving. 5. Asphalt paving surface layer, SMA 14 or similar approved, minimum 50mm deep. Contractor design item: Tenderer to confirm suitability of depth of surface asphalt paving and include for additional layer or increase thickness of surface layer if the contractor believes that the current minimum depth of 50mm isn't sufficient. 6. Install 1 number wheelchair accessible symbol. 7. Contractor to act as PSCS for the duration of the project and comply with all Health and Safety Regulations for the duration of the project.
