Contract for Community Learning Provision, This contract is for Community Learning provision. Durham County Council's DurhamLearn Service are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency to secure adult education opportunities in County Durham. The DurhamLearn Service is designated as the 'Provider' of this learning through provision that it secures by means of contracts with delivery organisations. This opportunity is for provision of Community Learning opportunities for adults aged 19+. Lot 1: This contract is for Community Learning provision. Durham County Council's DurhamLearn Service are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency to secure adult education opportunities in County Durham. The DurhamLearn Service is designated as the 'Provider' of this learning through provision that it secures by means of contracts with delivery organisations. This opportunity is for provision of Community Learning opportunities for adults aged 19+. Bidders were invited to submit a response for providing Community Learning, non-accredited programmes, by the deadline stated for delivering the requirements in the Specification. This Community Learning delivery opportunity supports the following delivery themes: • Life Skills/Preparing People for Work - employability and labour market re-entry, supporting adults to operate confidently and effectively in life and work • Supporting learners with additional needs - including learning difficulties and/or disabilities to progress into work/further learning. • Personal and Community Development Learning - learning for personal and community development, cultural enrichment, intellectual or creative stimulation • Wider Family Learning - learning to help different generations of family members to learn together how to support their children's learning • Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities - supports local Voluntary and other third sector organisations to develop their capacity to deliver learning opportunities for the residents of disadvantaged neighbourhoods
