Commercial Workspace Management System - Pre-Market Engagement

Tender description

Leicester City Council (the Council) wishes to appoint a single provider to enter into a contract to provide a Commercial Workspace Management System to allow our workspace service to run efficiently and scale up the service. We have multiple workspace locations in Leicester City and these workspaces consist of light industrial units, private offices, co-working spaces and meeting rooms for hire. Our customers range from start-ups, SMEs to multinational companies. They hire workspaces from us through agreement contracts such as lease, licences and pay as you go. Essentially, we provide our customers with serviced offices for them to run their business which in turn stimulates regeneration of local economy. The Council is interested in understanding the market, and whether vendors can supply all (our preferred option) or one of the components / modules we are looking to replace (which we are not adverse to). As a principle the council is embracing digitalisation of as many services as possible. Before commencing a formal tender process, the Council is keen to seek market information from organisations that may have an interest or expertise in this field. The information provided will be used to help inform and shape the requirements in our specification.
