Command and Staff Trainer (CAST) Contractor Logistic Support and Post Design Services

Tender description

The Training Simulation Systems Programme within Defence Equipment and Support, part of the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) is issuing this notice to alert suppliers that the previously advertised Contract Award Notice for Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) and Post Design Services (PDS) for the Command and Staff Trainer (CAST) Contract had the incorrect duration and did not include the value of Option Years. The original Contract Notice stated the price of first 3 (three) years of the contract which was £7,255,512.00 and it did not include the value of the 4 (four) option years. The awarded contract is with Raytheon Systems Limited (RSL) with an estimated total contract value of £19,071,439.00 for the initial three-years and the additional 4 (four) 1 (one)-year option years. Lot 1: The requirement is for the provision of Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) and Post Design Services (PDS) for the Command and Staff Trainer (CAST). CAST represents a synthetic training system which facilitates Collective Training (CT) from levels 4 to 6, representing higher formation battle training for commanders and their staff, enabling planning and execution of operations within a simulated virtual environment
