Clinical Skills Teaching Mannequin (Adult)

Tender description

The initial requirement is one Adult Simulation Mannequin for Trinity College Dublin as specified in Appendix 1. However, Trinity reserves the right to extend the contract over a four year period to address future requirements. In summary, adult, infant and older child manikins/models are required to assist with teaching in preparation for undergraduate medical students going on the wards. The purpose of these models will include: • Demonstrations of clinical examinations prior to and after students go on wards • Students examination of models with supervision • Working through clinical scenarios with models • Developing student’s confidence in particular in handling infants as many will care for children after qualifying. • Assessment of competencies in students.
