ACS Bridging Service

Tender description

Suffolk County Council wish to undertake Market Engagement for an ACS Bridging Service to deliver bridging care services to Customers on the Outstanding Home Care Support List (Waiting List). Lot 1: Suffolk County Council is undertaking Market Engagement prior to conducting a procurement exercise for an ACS Bridging Service in the future.In August 2022, following a sustained period of high demand, post-pandemic, Suffolk County Council (SCC) entered a Pilot with an existing Provider to deliver a Bridging Service in Suffolk. The basis of this Pilot was to purchase blocks of care (14hours per block, per day) in which care staff would be deployed into Suffolk, to deliver bridging care services to Customers on the Outstanding Home Care Support List (Waiting List) whilst they await their most appropriate long-term service. Market Engagement will be carried out 31st January 2023 with a view to move to prepare the tender hereafter.
