Nicotine Replacement Therapy and AI Digital Smoking Cessation Coaching

Tender description

Procurement for the supply and distribution of Nicotine Replacement Therapy items to support the Suffolk County Council smoking cessation service. This service will be required to complement the NHS Quit Smoking app and NHS Better Health/quite smoking website. The current service contract runs out 30th September 2023 and we had hoped to join an NHS national framework for supply due to start in September, but this has now been delayed therefore we are seeking to establish our own contract. Contract Start Date: 1st October 2023. Contract Period: 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 1 year. The tender will be run as a single stage Open Procedure. The value of the procurement is above threshold, the subject matter sits within Schedule 3 so falls within scope of the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The contract notice will be advertised on Find a Tender and Contracts Finder as well as being advertised on SCC's In-Tend Platform Suffolk Sourcing. The tender process will be conducted electronically through Suffolk Sourcing. Tender returns will be evaluated, and contracts awarded based on a price/quality split. Details will be published in the tender documentation. The split will be set to enable an appropriate balance between the need to seek best price and the scoring of quality for bids received.
