Memorial Stones

Tender description

Renfrewshire Council require a Contractor to conduct an assessment of the condition of the memorials in the 9 cemeteries the Employer is responsible for and the 11 closed churchyards (details at the appendix provided). A detailed survey will be required for all memorials and headstones over 1500mm. There is no requirement to look at stones below the 1500mm height. The survey will have to identify a Red, Amber, Green status approach to identify what level of remedial action, if any, is required. The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to allow Renfrewshire Council to engage with the marketplace to carry out a soft-market testing exercise. The Council would like to understand the current level of interest in the market for a tender of this nature and gather some information about the marketplace itself. Interested contractors are invited to register their interest via this notice.
