council secured funding under the Covid Small Settlements Regeneration programme co-funded by three government departments; Department for Communities (DfC), Department for Infrastructure (DfI) and Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) to deliver a number of thematic projects located within small settlements across the borough. An important thematic project currently being rolled out by council officers under this programme, has been business support grants which provide grant assistance to businesses to undertake façade improvements and/or bring space back into use. Council wish to appoint a qualified quantity surveyor to assess the financial claims against works being completed and make recommendations to council officers.
