Tender description

This is a Prior Information Notice published by the Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) Business Services Organisation (BSO) on behalf of Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI) to seek engagement with the Market place as PaLS are commencing work for a Regional Tender for Evacuated Blood collection Systems and Urine Collection Systems for the 5 main Hospital Trusts and NIBTS Organisation. Lot 1: Evacuated Blood Collection Systems This is a Prior Information notice published by the Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) Business Services Organisation (BSO) on behalf of Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI) to seek engagement with the Market place as PaLS are commencing work for a Regional Tender for Evacuated Blood collection systems and Urine Collection systems for the 5 main Hospital Trusts and NIBTS organisation. The current contract has been in place since 2018 and in light of market changes, we would like to invite potential suppliers to engage with HSCNI and NIBTS and present their position in a product awareness session in order to inform HSCNI and NIBTS professionals of any changes and/or developments in the supply of Evacuated Blood Collection systems and Urine Collection systems. The objectives of the Product Awareness Session are: • Gain insight on the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions. • Gain a better understanding of the feasibility of the HSCNI requirements and the most appropriate procurement approach to follow. • Gain initial supplier interest in supply and delivery / provision of Evacuated Blood collection systems and Urine Collection systems. • Establish how market ready suppliers currently are. • Ascertain how suppliers can assist the HSCNI to ensure Health and Safety Standards are met and to ensure compliance with all relevant and future legislation. • Understand risks and potential issues relating to supply and delivery of Evacuated Blood Collection Systems and Urine Collection Systems. Additional information: The product Awareness Sessions will be an opportunity for suppliers to present to a panel of HSCNI and NIBTS Professionals. The presentation will be scheduled to last approximately 1 hour per presenting supplier and will be required to:. 1) Provide a physical demonstration of their current Evacuated Blood Collection systems. 2) Provide a physical demonstration of their current Urine Collection systems and Evacuated Urine Collection systems.. 3) To be available to respond to questions or clarifications from attendees following demonstration and presentation covering all aspects of system functionality.. . The overall purpose of this session will be to update, educate and inform attendees of what is currently available in the marketplace and to assist on potential functional characteristics which could form part of the future tender specification.. Your participation in any future tender is in no way connected to or dependent upon your attendance at this Product Awareness Session.. Product Awareness Session is scheduled to take place in person at PaLs, Supplies Centre, Gransha Hospital, Derry, BT47 6YZ on 21st June and 22nd June 2023.. Specific appointment times will be communicated to each supplier following the closing date of this Declaration of Interest. Only those companies who can confirm their ability to provide, demonstrate and potentially supply Evacuated Blood Collection and Urine Collection Systems will be invited to attend the Product Awareness Session.. . What you need to do now: . 1) Request a copy of declaration of interest proforma from palsgransha.sourcing@hscni.net. 2) Complete the Declaration of interest form. 3) Submit your completed Declaration of interest form by emailing palsgransha.sourcing@hscni.net before the deadline at 15.00pm on 8th June 2023. 4) Ensure you will be available to attend on Wednesday 21st June and/or Thursday 22nd June and be able to present your solution to the HSCNI and NIBTS Professionals..
