Data Protection Officer and Services Lot 1: Set out below are the work areas where Data Protection has the most relevance: Mortgage to Rent: The Housing Agency manages the Mortgage to Rent (MTR) Scheme nationally, a government initiative to help homeowners at risk of losing their homes. The Housing Agency engages with Approved Housing Bodies, local authorities, private companies, and lending institutions to ensure the smooth running of the scheme. MTR is a measure aiming to keep people in their homes. Local Authority Home Loans: The Housing Agency provides a centralised loan assessment service for all local authorities nationwide. Loan assessments are currently outsourced to a third party service provider. Pyrite Remediation: The Housing Agency implements the Pyrite Remediation Scheme on behalf of the Pyrite Resolution Board. The Housing Agency currently has a programme of works extending into 2024. Defective Concrete Blocks Scheme: The Housing Agency will play a central role in assisting homeowners and local authorities as part of the Enhanced Defective Concrete Blocks Grant Scheme. The Housing Agency will act as agents of the local authorities under the scheme. Apartment Defects: It is envisaged that the Housing Agency will be administering the Defects Scheme for Apartments and Duplexes to support the remediation of apartments and duplexes Cost Rental Tenant in-Situ Scheme The Housing Agency has a role in the Cost Rental Tenant in-Situ Scheme. It will ultimately see eligible private rented tenants at risk of homelessness continue to reside in the property as Cost Rental tenants.
