Wiltshire Council Public Health Services Market Engagement Events

The Public Health team at Wiltshire Council are hosting a series of market engagement event in relation to services offered through the Public Health services contract. The current Public Health contract and service model in Wiltshire expires in March 2024 and we would like to enhance the current offer to help reduce inequalities, increase access to services and focus on prevention. Please note this is not a call for competition. The services this engagement event will be focused on are the NHS Health Checks programme (adults aged 45-74 years old), No Worries young people's sexual health (aged 13-24 years), Contraceptive Implants and Intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD). At the stakeholder engagement event on 27 April we confirmed we are seeking views on an enhanced offer that will complement the current offer of these services through Primary Care and Integrated sexual health service with a targeted approach and focus on reducing inequalities. Elements of the enhanced offer will need to work in collaboration with Primary Care to deliver these services. The contract will be for 5 years from 1 April 2024. Our second engagement event is taking place on 15 June and this event will provide information on: • Service specification of each public health service (NHS Health Checks, Smoking cessation, No Worries young people's sexual health, Contraceptive Intrauterine (IUCD) and contraceptive Implants). • Information on next steps for procurement and timescales. • Opportunity to comment on service specification and procurement plans To book your place please click on the Eventbrite link in the attached Flyer.
