The Setting Dyke Culverts Strengthening

Tender description

Hull City Council (The Authority) invites quotes from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to undertake The strengthening and improvement of the Setting Dyke culverts (National Avenue, County Road North, and Priory Road) including the installation of internal GRP lining units, filling between the GRP lining units and existing structures with a cementitious grout, the provision of traffic management above deck and provision of dewatering works below deck to allow safe installation of the works, all as more particularly defined in the document "Setting Dyke Scope NEC 4 ECC". The anticipated Works commencement date is 26th July 2023, allowing the Contractor sufficient time to procure or fabricate the GRP liners required to strengthen the culvert. The Authority will grant access to the sites as follows: Priory Road: Monday 23rd October - Friday 27th October 2023 - Must be completed during school half term County Road North: Monday 30th October - Friday 10th November 2023 (if finished earlier then could move onto National Avenue earlier, must not run concurrently with Priory Road or National Avenue) National Avenue: Monday 13th November - Friday 24th November 2023 The Authority has estimated the value of the Works at around £750,000.00.
