Tender description

North Yorkshire Council (NYC) is seeking tenders from suitable construction contractors to act as Principle Contractor for the construction of a single storey extension to its existing crematorium chapel building at Skipton Crematorium Chapel, Waltonwrays Cemetery, Skipton BD23 3BT. Whilst not grade II listed the existing buildings within the site are considered to be of heritage significance. Designs have been produced and the proposed extension will accommodate an additional 20 to 30 people standing; with the addition of audio visual equipment they will be able to view services taking part in the main Chapel. NYC require the contract to start 1st July 2023 with completion by end of August 2023.
