Under ESPO 664_21 Consultancy Services, Lot 5 Highways, Traffic and Transport, the Council \r are seeking to procure the services of a Managing Consultant as defined in the ESPO User Guide. This contract has been procured by further competition through the framework. \r Consultancy services are required for an experienced highways maintenance specialist who has \r the ability to be involved in the following activities:\r To lead the identification and prioritisation of an annual highways maintenance carriageway \r and footway programme of work. \r To check and validate Gaist roadscape intelligence to inform the initial draft list of schemes.\r To design individual maintenance schemes including their proposed treatments.\r Working with contractors to develop programmes of work, traffic management proposals, \r and establishing the appropriate permits to work.\r Checking works during construction and giving instructions to contractors and sign off upon \r completion.\r
