Tender description

CMAL wish to appoint a sole supplier in respect of the provision and installation of the complete electrical services installation (including removal of elements of the existing installation made redundant by the works) together with all associated civil / builders works; inspection and testing, test documentation, record drawing mark-ups and product data sheets to be included in the operating & maintenance documentation. This tender is being conducted as a one-stage exercise under CMAL’s Procurement Policy which means there is no short-listing stage and all Tenderers are required to complete both the SPD (Scotland) and Tender Response in one stage. CMAL are in process of installing UPS to external lighting at the ports to improve operational resilience and safety. In order to accommodate the UPS at Port Ellen, and associated lighting controls and other electrical distribution equipment a new GRP enclosure “Power House” has to be provided.
