PIN: Children's Centres, Family Support & Outreach and Day Care

Calderdale Council is seeking expressions of interest for suitable providers to deliver Children's Centre Services. We wish to engage with the provider market on our approach to re-commissioning Children Centre Services. We are looking to re-commission the services as either: (1) One service under one contract with a maximum budget of around £3,890,000 pa; or, (2) Separate Lots, whereby Tenderers will be able to bid for either or both Lots: (consortium bids will be allowed) (i) Lot 1: Children's Centre Core Services and Family Support and Outreach Services , with a maximum budget of around £3,395,000 pa. (ii) Lot 2: Day Care provision with a maximum budget of around £495,000 pa. The contract start date is 1st April 2024 and the duration has not yet been finalised but will not be less than 5 years. Please complete the Expression of Interest on YORtender and submit electronically by YORtender by 12 noon on Tuesday 30th May 2023. We are looking to re-commission the services as either: (1) One service under one contract: Children's Centre Core Services, Family Support and Outreach Services and Day Care provision (as described in the Expression of Interest document) as a single contract covering the whole of Calderdale (consortium bids will be allowed) with a maximum budget of around £3,890,000 per annum; or, (2) Separate Lots, whereby Tenderers will be able to bid for either or both Lots: (i) Lot 1: Children's Centre Core Services and Family Support and Outreach Services (as described in the Expression of Interest document) as a single contract covering the whole of Calderdale (consortium bids will be allowed, bidders may bid for a single Lot or both Lots) with a maximum budget of around £3,395,000 per annum. (ii) Lot 2: Day Care provision (as described in the Expression of interest document) as a single contract covering the whole of Calderdale (consortium bids will be allowed; bidders may bid for a single Lot or both Lots) with a maximum budget of around £495,000 per annum. The contract start date is 1st April 2024 the duration of the contract is yet to be agreed but would potentially be for an initial period of 5 years with an option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years.
