TU Dublin is seeking tenders for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of several instruments for the measurement of atmospheric gaseous and particulate pollution along with the in the field and the fit-out of the vehicle to meet instrument requirements. All the below lots will be installed in a Van, tenderers will be given the opportunity to come on site to assess where the instrument will be located. Model of the van is a Maxus Deliver 9 long wheelbase, high roof diesel van. Please see the Appendix A document for additional information in relation to the Van. Kitting out of the van to accommodate the six (6) instruments will be done post award i.e., sockets, benchtops etc. Tenders are sought for the Supply, Delivery, Installation, and Commissioning of Mobile Air Research Laboratory equipment comprising of six (6) Lots. Lot 1: Lot 1 - Atmospheric Gas Analyser Atmospheric Gas Analysis: A high resolution, ultra-sensitive real-time / near real-time on-line trace gas analyser Capable of measuring organic gases and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) with a detection limit in the low pptV range capable of distinguishing different organic gases and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) with associated sampling inlet and accessories. Lot 2: Lot 2 - Atmospheric Aerosol Analyser Atmospheric Aerosol Analysis: A high resolution, ultra-sensitive real-time / near real-time on-line aerosol mass spectrometer capable of measuring atmospheric aerosols with quantitative and qualitative determination. Instruments in either the PM1 or PM2.5 range will be considered, ideally capable of operation in both size regimes with associated sampling inlet and accessories. Lot 3: Lot 3 - Carbonaceous Aerosol Analyser Carbonaceous Aerosol Analysis: Instrument for the online analysis of carbonaceous aerosols in real-time / near real-time. Capable of separating carbonaceous aerosol into its constituent components (i.e., Organic Carbon (OC) and Black Carbon (BC) / Elemental Carbon (EC) and Total Carbon (TC). Ability to source apportion the BC / EC component. Portable and capable of operation in a mobile laboratory (while stationary). Lot 4: Lot 4 - Aerosol Particle Sizer Aerosol Particle Sizer: Instrument(s) capable of providing size resolved particle number concentrations from low nm range (< 10 nm) into the micron range (≥ 10 µm). Provide counts in multiple size bins across this range. Portable and capable of operation in a mobile laboratory (while stationary). Initial calibration and setup with associated sampling inlet and accessories. If providing more than 1 instrument to fulfil this request the data provided from the instruments must be compatible to give combined data across the size range to produce a uniform spectrum. Lot 5: Lot 5 - Gravimetric Particulate Mass Analyser Gravimetric Particulate Mass Analyser: Instrument meeting method requirements of Directive 2008/50/EC and standard gravimetric measurement method for the determination of the PM10 or PM2.5 mass concentration of suspended particulate matter CEN EN 12341 (2014). Filters must be suitable for chemical analysis after measurement measuring PM10 and PM2.5 fractions (and PM1 measurements would also be desirable). Real-time / near real-time sensors included desirable. Lot 6: Lot 6 - Online Air Quality Monitoring System Online Air Quality Monitor: Instrument(s) capable of measuring particulate matter (PM) and gases in real time. Instruments must be compatible with Irelands national air quality monitoring sites. PM measurements must provide PM2.5 and PM10 values in real time (and PM1 measurements would also be desirable). Gases measured, in ppb range and must include Oxides of Nitrogen (NOX), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Ozone (O3), Carbon Monoxide (CO), additional gases would also be desirable e.g. VOCs (ppm range). Internal data storage and / or data download from sensors directly available without requirements to use subscription cloud server. Capability to measure meteorological parameters e.g., temperature, pressure, RH, wind speed, wind direction. Portable and capable of operation in a mobile laboratory (while stationary). Tenders for this lot can comprise more than a single instrument however instrumentation time resolutions should be compatible. Initial calibration and setup.
