Tender description

To appoint a research company to undertake a Hotel Demand Study in order to gain an overview of the city’s hotel market in terms of supply, demand and future developments up to 2026. This work will build on the findings from a previous demand study conducted in 2016 and ensuing recommendations will inform Swansea’s new Destination Management Plan 2022-2025. Objectives · Identify current levels of supply and demand within the main hotel sector in Swansea city centre and provision of forecasts of hotel supply and demand to 2026. · Based on the projected future balance between supply and demand, identify the need for further supply to meet future levels of demand. · Identify the possibility of attracting future hotel developments as part of the regeneration programme currently planned for the City Centre
