Tender description

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invites Applications from suitably Qualified Main Contractors to participate in a Pre Qualification exercise for the appointment of an Economic Operator to provide the Works to construct a new Waste Transfer Station on the existing council site located at Drummee Road, Enniskillen, BT74 5JX.The proposed works to develop the new Waste Transfer Station (WTS) includes the following; - Breaking out sections of the existing quarry face and completing necessary earthworks works to accommodate the positioning of the waste transfer shed, - Demolition of existing concrete bays, concrete yard and rock features to accommodate permanent works, - Construction of a four-bay transfer station consisting of a steel portal frame and steel cladding, - Installation of solar panels and minor structural supports on the existing Drummee Waste Transfer Station building, - Construction of internal and external concrete floors / walls / yard and external waste bays, -Installation of site drainage, water, lighting, cctv, fire alarm, ventilation systems, general power and data supply, - Specialist Design / Installation and commissioning of a fire sprinkler system including sprinkler tank, pump house and pumps, - Maintenance and commissioning of MandE systems for year 1.
