Appointment of a single supplier to assist the Council with the procurement and management of required software, support and maintenance requirements - Act as a vendor partner in the procurement of ‘Off the shelf’ software licences, support and maintenance. - Maintaining and forming new software vendor partnerships as required to satisfy the software buying requirement. - The Supplier to be agnostic and proactive in their management of the service and offer their expertise and market related guidance on Software, related services, innovations, and potential third party alternatives to help choose relevant and most advantageous solutions to meet the Council needs. - Deliver lowest whole life cost available, exploiting volume discounts, rebates, deal registrations and promotional discounts, taking into account implementation and exit requirements.
