Island of Jersey – 2025 Bus Operator Contract

Tender description

The Government of Jersey via its Department for Infrastructure, Housing and Environment wishes to explore the capability of the local and external markets to operate a public and school bus network service to the required standard under contract to and, within the Laws and customs of the Island of Jersey. Central to the role is to provide strong experience of the operation of public bus services, and knowledge and experience of current and future best practice which needs to be considered as part of the future bus contract in Jersey. The operator will be expected to offer advice as to how to sustain, grow and improve the current public bus service market and identify future trends that would be applicable to the unique nature of the Island’s public transport system.
