Tender description

With the introduction of the assurance framework undertaken by CQC that resets the performance expectations of adult social care within a local authority setting, an appraisal of the internal adult service specific policy library has been undertaken. Significant policy review and development is required. This work is of a specialist nature, requiring understanding of policy development, an understanding of adult social care and horizon scanning of the policy and legislative landscape. It is also urgent in it's requirement ahead of CQC inspections that commence in September / October this year. Internal policy team are unable to assist with the size of this requirement and the urgency. The reset of performance expectations by CQC necessitate that front line practitioners as well as support functions have access to the appropriate policy, guidance and standard operating procedures to undertake their roles effectively, increasing the urgency.
