Job Title Consultant- Housing and Asset Management System- Technical Rate of Pay: £800 per day inclusive of agency on costs, Outside IR35 Hours: 20 Days Consultancy Location: Sandwell Council Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Temporary Brief description: Brief for Consultancy Work - Producing the technical specification for an integrated asset management system and housing management system. 20 days consultancy. Sandwell Council has 28,000 properties in its housing stock, 1,000 of which sit in a PFI. We use Job Manager for repairs reporting and allocations of jobs. However we do not have an asset management system and this needs to be specified, procured and rolled out within the Housing directorate. We are looking for a technical expert to work over the period May - September 2023 for a total of 20 days to write the technical specification for an integrated asset management system and housing management system. You will report to a senior lead for this project during this period and be supported by a small team from the business. You will need to be on site for these 20 days, based in Oldbury, West Midlands. You will have expert knowledge of asset and housing management systems available on the market (e.g. Capita, Civica CX, Northgate) and a proven track record of writing systems specifications for local authorities and housing associations. You will have good knowledge of the current and new requirements of social landlords including building safety and an understanding of the functionality that a system will need to have to enable us to report against all regulatory requirements. You will come equipped with the core specifications for these systems and ability to work at pace with the business to produce the right specifications for Sandwell.
