Tender description

Bury Architectural Services are seeking competitive tenders from competent and experienced contractors to deliver the above scheme. CONTRACTOR DESIGN PORTION The Contractor shall be solely and fully responsible for the complete design of: · Mechanical and Electrical Services Works The Services contractor shall take design responsibility for the following items: · Structured Wiring - routing of wiring for the structured wiring installation. · Cable Containment - sizing of cable containment and selection of containment routes · Electrical Distribution - sizing of sub-mains cables and final circuit wiring · Electrical Distribution – final selection and sizing of distribution boards and protective devices · Electrical Distribution - sizing of earthing and bonding conductors · Earthing installation and supplementary earth bonding · Fire Alarm – final selection of equipment, including wiring and system integration · Access Control and Intruder Alarm Systems - final selection of equipment, including wiring and system integration · Builders work in connection with the M&E Services Note that: · Contractors must use JB Eye Fire and Security Systems for all the fire, access control and intruder alarms works. · Contractors must use Bury Council for the IT and phone works.
