SLC Education Digital Futures - ICT Managed Service

Tender description

South Lanarkshire Council currently has an ICT Managed Service contract in place for Education Resources and Public Libraries and this will expire at the end of September 2025 and the Council is looking to ensure that a new contract is in place from 1st October 2025. South Lanarkshire Council’s Education Resources has had a highly successful full ICT Managed Service contract in place since 1 October 2013 which was extended in 2020. The contract includes: - a fully managed ICT platform/service for all SLC schools and nurseries, Youth Learning establishments, LAAC (Looked After and Accommodated) units and SLLC (South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture SCIO) public libraries. - network connectivity and infrastructure, WANs, LANs and WLANs, servers, network filtering and a full range of security services. - a core provision of desk top stations, mobile devices, curricular software, training, web space. The Council are issuing this PIN notice to gauge interest in the market from potential suppliers who can provide this service. Lot 1: The PIN notice is being published to gain information from potential suppliers to assist with the specification development. An overview of the requirement along with a pre-market engagement questionnaire is included for suppliers to provide feedback on potential solutions. The procurement route will be decided based on the information provided by the suppliers in the questionnaire. It is requested that the completed questionnaires be sent to Kirsty Stewart by email (email address is on the questionnaire) no later than Wednesday, 10 May 2023.
