Tender description

NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) act in an Agency capacity for and on behalf of its customers (Approved Organisations) - existing and new. These comprise of NHS and Social Care organisations (whether acting individually, or on behalf of, or together as members of any consortia) along with any other public or private sector bodies which NHS SBS authorises to use the resulting Framework. NHS SBS intends to put in place a Framework Agreement for the provision of Contrast Media including Injectors and Associated Products and related Goods and Services for Healthcare to be used by NHS SBS Approved Organisations. Lot 1: Contrast Media This lot is for the provision of Contrast Media: • Ionic iodine based Contrast Media for use in all relevant procedures • Non Ionic iodine based Contrast Media (including high and Low Osmolarity) for use in all relevant procedures • Paramagnetic Contrast Media for use in all relevant procedures. • Specialist Contrast Media Products including but not limited to:- • Contrast agents for gastro-intestinal examinations including barium sulphate, (includes lower GI tract exam media), • Oral contrast media for GI tract and CT scans, • Ultrasound contrast agents, Lot 2: Injectors and Associated Products This lot is for the provision of Injectors and Associated Products: • Injectors (including service and maintenance) • Ancillaries / Associated Products / Maintenance.
