Tender description

To qualify a number of anti-reflective coatings for use on fused silica windows for the ITER nuclear fusion reactor containment vessel. The coatings are to be applied to fused silica windows and samples free-issued by the United Kingdom’s Atomic Energy Authority’s Special Techniques Group (UKAEA-STG), who is managing the activity. 1.2. The materials supplied will be used for the qualification of optical viewport processes which will be used for nuclear boundary components on the ITER fusion reactor
