Manchester City Council, foster carer support and allegation management service is intended to deliver an independent, flexible, responsive and comprehensive support service to meet the needs of all our carers through the provision of effective support on financial, legal and other matters relating to Foster Carers. The purpose of the Independent Foster Carer Support and Allegation Management Service is to a) Deliver MCC Statutory obligations to ensure Foster Carers have independent advocacy support b) Provide a network of direct and peer support to all Foster Carers responsible for Manchester’s Looked After Children c) Offer a procedural arrangement for managing, investigating and responding to practice standards concerns and/or allegations made by or against Foster Carers.
