A mini-competition run under the Jisc telephony DPS. Lot 1: As a result of the College merger in August 2020, New College Swindon have been operating with 2 providers of mobile phone services. Both contracts have now expired and the majority of services are now on a rolling contract. Current services are being provided via a number of networks and most users have been allocated 2gb data per month with a small number on 4gb/10gb/24gb and the College Principal with unlimited use. One contract currently has 49 users with shared data and the other has 143 users with most having 2gb data allocated per month. Key Service Deliverables • A single network provider • A single mobile services provider • Ability to retain current mobile phone numbers • Ability to transfer all current mobile services to a new provider without delay in service • To base a shared data allowance on the current monthly data usage(circa 535gb) • A sim only contract • Ability to terminate mobile numbers with immediate effect with no repercussions • A minimum phone line contract duration • A single contract with a total service provider for 5 years • A fixed SLA for the contract duration • An online service providing the college with MI reporting on real-time data usage and phone line allocation • The ability to add to or reduce the college service requirements • A simple, fixed, clear set of charges with no hidden costs • All service terminology must be clearly explained • Provision of an account manager available during normal working hours • Any unused data allowance to be carried into the following month and not lost • Unlimited texts and calls • Ability to cap data use by phone line • Data roaming for approx. 10 employees worldwide • Ability to make international calls for approx. 10 employees • Ability to block and unblock international calls
