Tender description

IE have a requirement for workwear services in depots around the country including Cork, Limerick, Portlaoise, Drogheda, Ballina and various parts of Dublin. Proposals will be sought for the supply, weekly laundering, maintenance and repair of made to measure workwear for approx. 380 staff in our engineering workshops. The successful tenderer will be required to measure individual staff and supply personalised lockers for garment distribution and receptacles for soiled garments at each location. Garments to meet or exceed international standard EN/ISO 11612 for protection against heat and flame (for welding and grinding), be made with 9 ounce cloth with 60/40 polyester/cotton mix and have IE logo ironed onto the left breast pocket. The garments are navy for most locations with the exception of some locations where garments are white. The relevant EN/ISO standards will be supplied with the ITT. Workwear garments must have a worklife of 3 years. Further details with be issued at tender stage.
