Tender description

The Contracting Authority wishes to establish a number of single party framework agreements for the supply of classroom equipment and materials for use in post-primary schools and other centres under its remit. The scope of supply includes; a) laboratory equipment and supplies (for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science and General Science); b) equipment and supplies for Construction Studies including Woodworking Machinery; c) Applied Technology; d) Home Economics and e) equipment and supplies for the teaching of languages (language laboratory). Lot 1: Tender for Provision of Equipment and Supplies for the Teaching of Science The Contracting Authority seeks proposals from suitably qualified economic operators for the provision of equipment and materials for use in the teaching of Science Studies (General Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science) in post-primary schools and other centres under its remit. With regard to Section IV.1.1 "Type of Procedure", the Contracting Authority wishes to advise that The Open Accelerated Procedure at E.U. Level is being used as it requires the urgent provision of Classroom Equipment and Materials for the opening of new school classrooms in Q2 2023 and the normal open procedure will not allow sufficient time to procure these products in time.. Lot 2: Tender for Provision of Equipment and Supplies for the Teaching of Construction Studies including Woodworking. The Contracting Authority seeks proposals from suitably qualified economic operators for the provision of equipment and materials for use in the teaching of Construction Studies including woodworking in post-primary schools and other centres under its remit. Lot 3: Tender for Provision of Equipment and Supplies for the Teaching of Applied Technology The Contracting Authority seeks proposals from suitably qualified economic operators for the provision of equipment and materials for use in the teaching of Applied Technology Studies in post-primary schools and other centres under its remit. Lot 4: Tender for Provision of Equipment and Materials for teaching of Home Economics in post-primary schools. The Contracting Authority seeks proposals from suitably qualified economic operators for the provision of equipment and materials for use in the teaching of Home Economics in post-primary schools and other centres under its remit. Lot 5: Tender for Provision of Equipment and Materials for teaching of Languages in post-primary schools. The Contracting Authority seeks proposals from suitably qualified economic operators for the provision of equipment and materials for use in the teaching of languages (in a language laboratory setting) in post-primary schools and other centres under its remit.
