Tender description
<p>Hackney Council is seeking quotations for the supply of artistic direction services to manage the development and delivery of Hackney Carnival programming for 2023.</p> <p>Due to limited funds, the Council is not planning to deliver a street carnival in 2023 and instead will deliver a programme of activities that support the borough’s carnival groups, engages the community and keeps the traditions of Hackney Carnival alive until the street carnival returns in 2024.</p> <p>The Artistic Director role requires leadership and coordination of the local carnival sector, specifically the Carnival Bands Stakeholder Group which consists of 18 carnival groups with long-term involvement.
