Wiltshire Council Public Health Services Market Engagement Events

<p>The Public Health team at Wiltshire Council are hosting a market engagement event in relation to services offered through the Public Health services contract. The current Public Health contract and service model delivered through Primary Care in Wiltshire expires in March 2024 and we would like to enhance the current offer to help reduce inequalities, increase access to services and focus on prevention. The services this engagement event will be focused on are the NHS Health Checks programme (adults aged 45-74 years old), No Worries young people's sexual health (aged 13-24 years), Contraceptive Implants and Intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD). The enhanced offer will complement the current offer of these services through Primary Care and Integrated sexual health service with a targeted approach and focus on reducing inequalities. Elements of the enhanced offer will need to work in collaboration with Primary Care to deliver these services. The contract will be for 5 years from 1 April 2024. The engagement event will be an opportunity to find out more and share your views on the current service model for NHS Health Checks, No Worries young people's sexual health service, Contraceptive Implants and IUCD services. We would like to hear your thoughts on how these services can be offered in Wiltshire whilst meeting the needs of the population.
