RFI - LE TacCIS Network Hardware and Network Software Discovery Event

Tender description

The TacSys Service Executive is seeking to understand the availability and maturity of hardware and software solutions that support the networking and communications requirements of digital systems and their Users in the Land tactical environment in order to inform TacSys programmes. Such solutions will be hosted on a range of tactical platforms (including armoured fighting vehicles) and also dismounted for headquarters use. As well as providing the LAN for at least the platform C2 system, the solutions must enable an end-to-end network to be created from the various bearers available, which have widely differing characteristics. User facing services such as platform and headquarters intercom and telephony, must be supported, as well as access to voice services provided by the bearers (e.g. half-duplex push-to-talk voice). This RFI aims to equip the Authority with a good understanding of the breadth and maturity of market offerings.
